When designing a bedroom with the cowgirl theme in mind one the most important part of the room will be the bedding. When you have the cowgirl bedding chosen it is time to look at other parts of the room. Secondly I like to pick out cowgirl curtains that match the bedding. Furniture in the room should have a rustic look. This can be obtained by using vintage furniture in the room or by using a dark stain to coat the furniture in. Engraved horseshoes in the wood can also give more of an authentic feel. Western styled lamps can also be placed on the night stands.
A hardwood flooring in the bedroom will give a rustic look. You can compliment the hardwood with adding a shag rug or a square red rug will look good nice. The best place to put the rug is at the foot of the bed or next to the side of the bed so you have a nice place for your feet to land upon waking up.
